Badger Trail:
the work behind ownership.
Recognizing value was only the beginning. The real work has been accepting responsibility for the infrastructure, homes and people affected by every decision.

When I purchased Badger Trail on June 22, 2023, I saw more than a property with unused potential. I saw a community whose residents depended on infrastructure that needed attention, investment and consistent oversight.

Responsibility beneath the surface.
The original water system was housed in two deteriorating sheds. We updated the system and replaced those structures with a new, secure well building. But improving the equipment was only part of the responsibility.

Because water quality directly affects every resident, I became a licensed water operator. I continue working with the system daily—monitoring it, maintaining it and looking for ways to improve the quality of water delivered to the community.

Recognizing value is only the beginning. Ownership means accepting responsibility for what that value can become—and for the people affected by every decision.
Visible improvements. A longer view.
We have paved the streets, demolished abandoned trailers and brought newer homes into the park. Each improvement is practical, but together they represent something larger: restoring standards, creating stability and showing residents that the place they call home matters.

Badger Trail remains a work in progress. Its unused lots still represent opportunity, but growth must be deliberate. The goal is to add homes responsibly, maintain the infrastructure behind them and continue improving the community over time.
